Why I Want to Study Japanese

こんばんは to everyone since I am writing this in evening. Right now, my Japanese is very poor and a lot of things taught in class would be forgotten by me very soon. So, let us hope things will become better and one day I will be fluent in Japanese.

My reason for studying Japanese is very simple. I grew up watching all kinds of Japanese animations, like 黒執事 or ナルト. They are part of my beautiful childhood or even teenage memory. So, when I found out that I had to study a third language to fulfil  a AL college requirement, I decided that I would choose Japanese.

It is always exciting to learn about a new language and a new culture. I look forward the whole learning process in the future. I am also excited to review all the Japanese animations I used to love in Japanese after I "master" this language.

  1. I really enjoyed reading about how you chose Japanese. I also share your interest in Black Butler (黒執事) and am looking forward to re-watching a bunch of the animated shows I watched when I was younger after I learn more Japanese. (I additionally share your sentiment about not being too proficient at it right now, but we all will get better!) Thank you for sharing your reasons for joining with the rest of us.
